With a huge bridal party (which we highly recommend, so fun and such a party vibe!) and a searing hot day, our wedding had so many memorable moments, some funny, some stressful but all contributing to the best day ever.
Apart from saying I do, my favourite moment was going away for photos after the ceremony and having time with the bridal party. We all piled in to a 12 person van with some drinks on board and cruised around the photo locations.
It was a scorching hot day so the boys decided to have a swim in lake Hawea. They stripped down to their undies, then had to get re-dressed for photos, so they put their suits on commando and hung their undies out the van window to dry them on the way back to the wedding. We turned up with 6 pairs of men's undies flapping in the breeze!
Another favourite moment was at about 11pm Chris and myself walked up the hill and looked down at everyone partying in the Teepee. We just took 10mins to ourselves to take it all in and watch everyone partying it up, it was a really nice moment of quiet in such a big day.
Because of the heat, one of the more stressful parts of the wedding was when the iPhone which was connected to the speaker to play music as I walked down the aisle had overheated and couldn't play the music. Everyone was waiting for 10mins while the phone cooled down. Myself and the bridesmaids were hiding behind a bush waiting and no one told us why we were waiting for the music to start, we thought Chris had done a runner!
