After waking with a grin on my face and butterflies in my stomach the day started with a quiet cup of tea in bed with mum, enjoying the beautiful view over Fairhaven to settle the nerves.

Once all the girls were up we did a coffee run and a cheeky trip down to the surf club to have a sticky beak at the setup and styling. Excitement levels were running high!

My sister-in-law is a yoga instructor and took a session with us on the balcony. It was incredible, the sun was shining and not a cloud in the sky. After a busy lead up to the wedding, it was so nice to have a few quiet moments to just be still. It really made me soak in each moment was throughout the morning and the rest of the day – thank you, Anna!

It was so special to have the morning with my closest girlfriends and family as we got ready. Our hair and makeup didn’t start until about 11 am and it was all very relaxed with lots of laughs, some champagne, good music, and a few happy tears. I was already having the best day and the wedding hadn’t even started!

Both Hugo and I had the best day, it was so happy, relaxed and everything we hoped for. We couldn’t wipe the smile from our faces and Tony’s photos certainly prove that! My favourite moment was seeing Hugo for the first time, I was so excited and couldn’t help but kiss him as soon as I got to the end of the aisle.
