The big day began with my Annie (my sister), my dad and I stretching our legs with a run - an ultimate (and an incredibly efficient) way to clear our minds and routinely get some movement in prior to all the craziness of the day ahead. In hindsight the run woke us up to the reality of the heat for the day, with temperatures touching close to 30 degrees at 7 am - ahhhh...!!!

Scotty and I decided we wanted to do photos prior to the ceremony and this meant the formalities of getting ready, such as hair and make-up needed to begin earlier than anticipated. Being surrounded with good tunes, a delish breakie, champagnes, pomme (obvs), laughs and some serious AIR CON was just THE BEST! A cute video from Scotty and a few tears and we were right to go!!

The bridal crew took a bus out to the venue - yep it did have cool air - and no it did not stop the sweat, but it ensured that the day starting with the groomsmen was fun, relaxed and ultimately meant I could spend more time with Scotty. We took some pics, steamed the dress, fanned our backs, drank some more, ate some more.... until we heard the sounds of Xavier Rudd - cue-ing the aisle walk (Note to self - don't walk so fast!!)

And so the with that and after some seriously cute... I mean amazing.. words from Scotty at the ceremony, we were married and yes it feels great!

We called the Aperols, Italian food, ultimate song list, mega catch-ups, shade and some incredible speeches (albeit going overtime like an hour) that lead us into a night of dancing and good times!!

Special memories created, a day genuinely reflecting Scotty and me, which is all we could have hoped for!!
