My ‘getting ready’ with my bridesmaids was almost my favourite part of the wedding. A very close second to you know, marrying my love. These days, it is so hard to find more than a couple of hours to spend with your besties so when the wedding day comes and you get to lounge around in matching outfits, sipping on bubbles, getting hair and make up done and just shooting the breeze – it’s heaven. 

Not to mention we were in Italy, so everything just felt exotic, fun and holiday vibes. Our getting ready was very calm; we had plenty of time so nothing felt stressful or rushed. We sipped on espressos, prosseccos and munched on panino. Not the standard healthy fruit plate and iced water, but when in Rome.
