We chose to get married at the Regency Beach Club in WA. My wedding day began with an early morning jog along the beachfront of Dunsborough. It was so beautiful to watch the sunrise over the ocean and this really set the tone for the calm yet fun day that we hoped for. Our morning of getting ready was perfect, spent with my sisters, bestie and Mum. Everything was chilled, there was no rush, and importantly we had delicious lunch, drinks and tunes to keep us occupied.
We had many of our family and friends contribute to the wedding in some way; my Mum did the flowers with the help of her friends and made the relishes for all the guests with my mother in law, who also made the cake along with my now husband. My sister did the corsages and button holes, my Uncle, Mum and Stepdad gave me away, our dog was the ring bearer, my husband's Uncle was the celebrant and many more! We also made an effort to use all local suppliers, supporting small businesses and those who were affected by the bushfires earlier this year. This made our wedding feel all the more special for us, having some of the most important people in our lives involved in making our day so memorable.
