We decided to get married in Melbourne, at an old, beautiful church right in the middle of the city, followed by our reception at the State Library of Victoria. Our black-tie themed wedding captured our love for design, interior and heritage buildings (and my husband will never let me forget that he was the one who found our venue).

Waking up on my wedding day felt like any other day. I was so lucky that everyone at home was super calm and relaxed (which definitely rubbed off on me). My bridesmaids, makeup artist, and hairdresser arrived around 9 am, and got to work. By 12/12:30 we were all almost ready for my extended family to arrive at the house for the big reveal (this is just the norm for Greeks!). Seeing my 94-year-old grandfather for the first time in my wedding dress was so surreal.. we both burst into tears, and as did everyone else.

Looking back on the day, it went seamlessly, we were so so lucky!
