The morning of our wedding was perfect! I spent the night before with my bridesmaids in a beautiful house right on the beach in Dunsborough, which is a very magical and scenic part of the WA South West regional. We spent the morning relaxing at the property on the balcony - it was a perfect 27 degree day. My bridesmaids ducked out for a coffee run and came back and put together a beautiful brunch spread of fruit, croissants, all the yummy things! I gave them a few pressies to open (including their Pomme gowns), and they gave me a gift and card from my husband Tim. The gift was a beautiful set of earrings, but the card was what got me!

After that, my hairdresser and MUA arrived who were both so warm and friendly, I loved having them with us. Honestly, the whole morning was so stress free and fun. We were running ahead of schedule so we had time to pop a magnum of House is Cards sparkling on the balcony. I just remember laughing and smiling all morning - it was so perfect. About mid morning the florist arrived and gave me a sneak peak at the florals in her van as she was on her way to the venue. It was at that moment that the excitement set in! Her flowers were out of this world - I couldn’t have dreamt up the magic she created.

Once about 2pm hit a bit of madness set in! The photographer and videographer arrived, and it was time to get dressed! At that time, I got wind that my dad had a flat battery down the road and was running late (Ahhh, of all the days!). He was actually driving me and the bridesmaids to the ceremony, so having his car was pretty pivotal haha. I wasn’t panicked though, dad has never ever let me down and I knew he would get it sorted one way or another. I was mostly trying to keep my mum calm. Luckily, being ahead of schedule meant we had time for a little mishap. In the end, we were on the road and ready to go exactly at the time we had planned.

The drive to the ceremony was so much fun! We played our favorite songs and belted out some car karaoke to calm the nerves. The morning of the wedding could not have been more relaxing or perfect. It truly set the tone for our entire day!
